What is your Why?
There are likely many times that you and I find ourselves asking why? Why am I doing this? How often though do we really stop to sit deeply into the question, full presence to the…

Elevation ’18 Yoga & Lifestyle Retreat
When planning Elevation ’18 I envisioned a trip that was a genuine spiritual pilgrimage, an opportunity to expand on who we are and why we are, soulful relaxed times interlaced with deep inner work and reflection. Times like these call to the inner mystic within us all, they are genuine adventures and whilst it may seem outwardly that we are arriving into a destination to relax,(which of course we do) an undercurrent that carries us deeper into our life experience is awaiting us all.

“When the pushing & pulling has stopped”
I am fascinated by the work of Vanda Scaravelli (born in 1908 and not introduced to yoga until her mid 40’s). Whilst she never wanted to develop a school of Scaravelli yoga and only worked with a handful of students her work endures today as Scaravelli inspired yoga. Really though, this post is not about the work of Vanda, (I hope to have more to say on this topic another time). This post is inspired from Vandas words quoted above, they had me nodding a very big yes in agreement.

Ocean Therapy Retreat
The Autumn weather arrived just in time for our Ocean Therapy weekend retreat to the (I am totally biased;) stunning coastline of Point Lonsdale, whilst it was the first time in a while that many of us had to search for the winter jackets we were all kept warm and relaxed with yoga, beach walks, beautiful food and good company.

Bali Retreat 2017
Staying within the boutique retreat centre of “Naya” situated just outside of Ubud our February retreat offered an immersion into self care & personal development. Exclusive use of the retreat centre enabled our group to…

13 Signs it may be time to take a retreat
Ok I am not so sure about the image choice for this blog. Yes you will find yourself accessing that inner quiet within. However………and it is a fairly big however. Be prepared to laugh yourself into a feeling of euphoria and that isn’t always a quiet sound;)

The final wrap
Stacks on stacks of gratitude for everyone who has supported Becoming Yoga in 2016. From Seymour to Strath Creek, Yea and beyond. you have all taught me so much more about who I am and how I can best teach and facilitate what I love so much.

Identity, change & transformation
I have been guided to get back to writing, for some time now. So welcome to my return to the blog. Your expression is a reflection of your world and so I wrote here on this white board a lot about the farm and my world within it. The farm has gone now and my transition to a new world has passed. People ask me do you miss it? the answer is no.
