Dehydrating the plentiful fruits

I have been on a bit of a bender sucking the moisture out of as many fruits that I can get my hands on. The apples went quickly with a sprinkling of cinnamon, I was supposed to hide away some apricots to see how long they would keep but the children could not keep away from them, I dried some figs and now I have finished with the late season peaches. Using an electrical machine does not hold the same magic as my memories of watching apricots dry out in the sun during my travels in Turkey but it is just so very easy, requiring less energy from me but a fraction more from the electricity lines. I really appreciate the dried fruit minus the Sulphur dioxide preservative, yum!
